Kornati National Park. The park is made up of 89 protected islands and islets, most of which are uninhabited, but some crops are still present, such as vines or olive trees. By someplace you may have the impression of believing yourself on a lunar landscape cartively some islands are totally degraded. It was actually the Venetians who, when they occupied the country, used the wood of the Kornati trees to build their impressive fleet. Most of the islands have the peculiarity of owning large cliffs proudly facing the sea. There are about 750 species of plants scattered throughout the park. As in the park of Paklenica many birds are present, you can find cormorants, gulls, falcons or nozzles ... You can also observe lizards, snakes and other insects.
