The Eastern Aegean Sea is an inland sea of the Mediterranean basin between Europe and Asia. It extends from Crete in the south to the Straits of the Dardanelles to the north, Greece to the west and Turkey to the east. It bathes a large number of islands, notably that of Crete, which is the main (see page Crete) but also the northern zone composed of five islands belonging to Greece. Maritima offers you from the marinas Chios, Lesbos and Samos.
Samos is also a greek island of the Aegean Sea, located 70 kilometers south of Izmir in Turkey. Famous for its red pottery from Antiquity, its crafts, fruits and olive oil among others, it is considered one of the most beautiful islands of the country. Samos is a verdant island of forest, an ideal place to surf the waves of the Aegean and enjoy its very pleasant beaches. There are also many shops, restaurants and bars at very low rates. Because of its very interesting past, Maritima advises you to rent a vehicle on site and explore the city on your own!
